Memorial Day Weekend in Missouri!

It’s that time of the month! This Friday I’ll be boot scootin to the airport to go down and kick it with all those in the greater midwest that love to get down. Big 3-Day party down at the Lake of the Ozarks that will be sure to either send me back in a heap or begging for more. We’ll just have to wait and see! If you’re in the neighborhood and were thinking about going .. well, here’s some info! Beware, I think all the rooms have been sold out and the only option left may be to stop through and party down (I won’t tell anyone if you end up sleeping in your trunk).

2003 was a good year for house music in Chicago. Lot’s of funky boots, warm bass, and a whole new sound was just starting to emerge from our friends on the left coast. Take a peek at this, and especially burn a copy for your car! Great driving/running music, sure to put a smile on your face. I forgot what happy house sounded like until I heard this again!

For anyone checkin in, I’ve got quite a bit comin up for ya! There’s a new mix in order right now, as I’ve got a few radio stations that are asking for more frequent submissions. Once they get aired, I’ll post them here for anyone to download. The next one should be up next week though!

In other news, I’ll be at the always fun Uptown Lounge on Friday, May 7 alongside Lee Jarvis (Freerange) and Sexual Chocolate (Om, Spatula City) while we rip that place a new hole in it’s backside. Seriously. If I can make it through the night, eat a burrito, and sleep enough, I’ll be playing at Smartbar on Saturday, May 8 with DJ Heather, Hiroki, and Organic Groove Continuum! That … is gonna be fun.

More shows being worked out right now, but I know this is mostly the place where people come for mixes, so keep an eye out, I’ll have the new one soon!
